Thanksgiving is actually one of our favorite holidays. We love any excuse to be around loved ones and eat lots of great food! This time of the year is also great for fashion. The cooler weather allows for more layering, fun shoes, and accessories.
Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas
Whether it’s Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving, we wanted to give you some easy and cute Thanksgiving outfits that will be comfortable for a long day of food and celebration!
Sweater + Skirt Combo
In our opinion, a skirt and knit sweater combo can never go wrong during this time of year. It looks very clean and polished, but is also super comfortable! Krista’s two-piece set from Splendid is so cute and unique. We love how these pieces go together but are slightly different. Plus, they’re cute on their own as well!
My sweater from Splendid doesn’t have a tight bottom hem which makes it perfect for layering over sweaters and skirts or tucking into jeans! Metallic has been a big trend this year and we’re loving this satin skirt with my Mary Jane flats I have worn almost daily!
Cozy Neutrals
Another great option is a sweater dress. Krista’s cream sweater dress from Splendid is perfect for Thanksgiving, the Holidays, and even into early spring! It also has a defined waistband which makes the dress look like a set. A belt would be a fun accessory to add. So cute!
Splendid’s Carson pant has been a favorite of mine all through fall. They look elevated and relaxed at the same time and are perfect with just about any shoe! I paired them with a textured Cashblend cream sweater and metallic heels, but would look great with sneakers if you want to go more casual.
Comfy Palazzo Pants
If you’re team stretchy pants for Thanksgiving – Palazzo Pants are the ones!!!
They feature a drawstring waist, pockets and a flowy super wide leg. We paired them here with a simple sweater and cardigan and some statement Mary Jane flats. My black cardigan has a pearl detail around the trim which brings a touch of elegance to the outfit.

These outfits are so simple and double as a great Holiday party options! My pretty cranberry Simply Vera Wang dress from Kohl’s is under $50!! The tiered ruffles and waist belt are such nice details. I paired them with some nude heels. So cute!
Krista’s purple sweater dress is so warm and comfortable and under $30! She paired it with some nude knee high boots. You don’t need much to show up in style!
