For us, Thanksgiving is all about relaxed vibes, cozy sweaters, and easy-to-wear outfits that still feel polished. Here are some of our favorite casual options:
Outfit 1: Festive Sweaters
Krista and I are loving Heartloom this time of year! These festive sweaters bring all the holiday vibes and are perfect for celebrating Thanksgiving.
I’m wearing the Rae Sweater in Grey from Heartloom paired with the Lana High Waist Wide Leg Jeans from Pistola in the color “Break.” I styled the look with some neutral heeled boots – so easy, cute, and totally Thanksgiving-ready!
Krista chose the Rae Sweater in the white/yellow colorway, which is such a fun pop for the season. She paired it with the Everly Rootbeer Pants from Velvet Heart and the &Other Stories sock boots in cognac. We love how comfortable yet stylish this look is for a casual Thanksgiving dinner with friends and family!!
Outfit 2: Comfortable & Easy
Thanksgiving outfits don’t have to be complicated – sometimes simple, comfortable pieces can make the best statement! Both of these outfits are completely from Quince which is one of our favs!!
I’m wearing the Australian Merino Wool Collared Cable Cardigan in “Barolo Burgundy.” It’s so festive and cozy for a holiday gathering! I paired it with the Bella Stretch Straight Jeans – still can’t believe these are only $50, such great quality and stretch! Finished the look with my Veronica Beard Kelby Booties, and I’m ready to party!!
Krista’s outfit is just as comfy but polished. She’s wearing the Mongolian Cashmere Crewneck Sweater, which is also only $50! She paired it with the 100% Washable Silk Drawstring Wide Leg Pants and simple black heels. It’s a look that’s perfect for a family Thanksgiving dinner – comfortable enough to sit through multiple courses, but still super chic and stylish.
Outfit 3: Trendy & Warm
For this last category, we wanted something a little different: trendy outfits that still feel warm and a touch classic.
I am wearing the Jennevie Walnut Timber Sweater and Gia Black Jeans from Velvet Heart. So cute and classic! I paired them with some strappy black heels from Sam Edelman and a black bag from Portland Leather. Easy fave!
Krista’s outfit is so cute!! She is wearing a denim midi skirt and Solvang Optic White Sweater also from Velvet Heart. They have some grey finds right now!! Krista is wearing them with her go-to heels, but they are sold out. You can find some similar ones for fall HERE!
Styling Tips for Thanksgiving Outfits
When putting together Thanksgiving outfits, comfort and layers is key! We often go outside to hang out, but eat indoors, so we try to dress with a top that isn’t too warm, or layer a t shirt underneath. Always remember a cute jacket! Shoes also make a big difference – pointed boots, neutral heels, or sleek loafers instantly elevate a look without feeling too fancy.
