We ‘re loving styling our new color favorite fashion find – terracotta pants! And with all the likes, shares, and views from our latest viral post, we’re thinking you love terracotta too!!
We’re always on the hunt for new casual looks that fit our busy lifestyle, and terracotta pants have proven to be super versatile with all the spring tops. From warm colors and neutrals to stripes and prints!!
With Washington State spring weather being so unpredictable, we love that terracotta works just as well with short sleeve tops as it does with cozy transitional sweaters. Throw on a coordinating jacket if it’s cooler, and these looks will take you right into summer.
Check out all the fun options we’ve found in both terracotta pants and coordinating tops!
Terracotta Pants Options:
- Target’s A New Day™ High-Rise Tapered Ankle Pull-On Joggers in “red” – Lightweight, comfy, and super flattering with an elastic waist and drawstring. At just $28, it’s an easy way to try this fun color.
- Anthropologie’s Reese Smocked Pull-On Barrel Pants by Pilcro in “Tomato” – A great pick for a sporty vibe. Pair with sneakers or hiking sandals and you’re ready for the day. We especially like these with a cropped top to show off the high waist.
- Nordstrom’s High Waist Wide Leg “Hidden Jeans” in “Rust” – Want to dress up your terracotta? These are perfect with a ballet flat or short heel for a girls lunch or post-work cocktails!
- Nordstrom’s Unpublished Gemma Crop Wide Leg Jeans in “rust brown” – So cute and on-trend with front patch pockets for a little extra detail.
Now that we’ve shared some fun terracotta pant options, let’s talk about the tops! Terracotta seems to pair with just about everything, but here are some of our favorite combos:
Grey

- Quince’s Baby Alpaca-Wool Cropped Cardigan in Charcoal – This is the one we showed in our post, but honestly, every color looks good with terracotta. Bonus: it’s 20% off!
- Quince’s Mongolian Cashmere Fisherman Hoodie – A cozy, casual vibe with an elevated cut. And it’s 35% off!
Cream

- Target’s Quarter Zip Collared Pullover Sweater by Universal Thread™ – Great texture and currently on clearance for under $25.
- Asos Design V-Neck Oversized Sweater In Neutral – The sweater I’m wearing above is out of stock, so we found something similar! This Asos sweater is super cozy and oversized and has the same cute shallow v-neck which we love!
Blue

- Gibson Look’s Cap Sleeve Funnel Neck Top – A soft funnel neck for cooler days and cap sleeves for when it warms up. Comfy and chic!
- Target Long Sleeve Popover Denim Top – It’s looking like denim tops are going to be a big trend this spring! The one above is currently low on stock with only a few size options left, so here is a pretty denim shell top from another recent outfit!
Leopard Prints

- Sezane’s Gio Jumper – Sleeveless with a touch of wool, perfect for layering.
- Amazon’s Peplum Babydoll Top by Mangmao – Super cute puff sleeves and only $24. So much style for the price!
Burgundy

- Target’s Extended Short Sleeve T-shirt in Dark Red – Just $7 and looks great tucked in!
- Quince’s Mongolian Cashmere V-Neck Sweater – Long sleeves for chilly mornings and currently 64% off! (This is actually from Kohl’s! And sold out I think)
Black

- AirEssentials Half Zip Sweatshirt by Spanx (Nordstrom) – Great for an athletic vibe. Super comfy and 30% off right now. (This is an Amazon sweater)
- Anine Bing Graphic Tee and Paige Washed Black Denim Jacket – Both of these are great “throw on & go” closet staples year round!
Stripes

- Target’s Boat Neck T-shirt by Universal Thread™ – Only $12.60 and pairs perfectly with terracotta!
- Zara’s Striped Knit Cardigan – A dressier option for layering from morning to night.
We hope you’re loving all the terracotta outfit inspo as much as we are! 🧡 It’s quickly become one of our favorite colors to style this spring, and we’re so excited to see how you make it your own.
