Shop The Nordstrom Sale Like A Pro: What We Think Will Sell Quickly
Over the next few weeks we’ll be showing you how to shop the Nordstrom Sale like a Pro. We use this sale to stock up on our favorite basics, pick up items for fall like jeans and jackets, and even start shopping for the Holidays!!
The tricky part of this sale is that with so many early access cardmembers, things can sell out quickly. If you’re not an early access member, it’s time to start shopping the preview section now and add things to your wishlist so you can snag the items you love as soon as you can!

Cute & Transitional
We love using this sale to start putting together our go-to fall outfits, and this one’s a fave! The “Cozy Cardigan” by Open Edit is such a great brown and on sale for $49.99. We’d pair it with these Sam High Waist Wide Leg Jeans from Wit & Wisdom. Loving this dark wash – it goes with everything!
The Madewell Medium Essential Leather Bucket Tote is a classic and $50 off during the sale (yes please), and the Ira Pointed Toe Mules from Steve Madden add a fun little edge to the outfit. And we always check out the earring bundles during this sale. This set of 3 geometric hoops from Nordstrom is just $30 and such a good find!!
Light Wash Jeans Moment
This outfit gives us major Last Seen Wearing vibes!!! We’re loving the pretty white top from Caslon paired with these Levi’s Baggy Dad jeans. These jeans are on sale for $71.99 (originally $109!). We’re all about white tops with light wash jeans, even in the fall. It’s such a fresh combo.
We styled it with the Dessa Mules from Steve Madden, which we’re obsessed with. These are 100% going to be a top seller during the sale. For accessories, we added The Suede Shopper Tote from Madewell (huge $$ off here!), the Mona Earrings from BaubleBar, and this pretty faux pearl necklace from Argento Vivo Sterling Silver.
Love, love, love this whole vibe!
Casual Style
Sneakers are always one of our favorite things to grab during the sale, so we had to throw some in here! These are the Oasis Sneakers from Vince. We love the simple, clean style, and they’re $100 off right now (such a steal)!
We paired them with one of our go-to jeans: the Bennett ‘Ab’Solution Skyrise Bootcut Jeans from Wit & Wisdom, and this cream Pointelle Raglan Sleeve Sweater by Treasure & Bond. Such a good neutral for layering into fall.
We also noticed you all were loving Longchamp last year (noted!). We found this gorgeous faux leather plum bag that totally feels like a fall staple. Finish it off with the Waterproof Bubble Initial Pendant Necklace from Open Edit and you’re good to go!
Full Fall Moment
For our last outfit, we wanted to bring a little extra, and what’s more extra than FarmRio? You all have been loving their styles this year, and we totally get it. This is the Nature Land Long Sleeve Belted Minidress in Sand. We’re obsessed with everything about it – the print, the sleeves, the belt… it’s just so good.
We loved the tall boots on the model and picked out these from Marc Fisher LTD for that full fall moment. We also added the Classic Collar Velveteen Jacket from Eileen Fisher (loving this one) and some simple teardrop earrings.
And if you’re feeling extra extra, go for the Studded Boxy Leather Shoulder Bag by Veronica Beard. Such a fun statement piece!
