Happy May! We can’t believe how fast this year is moving – it was cold just a few weeks ago and now it’s almost summer!! It’s been a busy spring full of lots of fun events, trips, and spring fashion!
April was a great fashion month for us. Seattle is finally getting a little bit warmer and we’ve had some beautiful sunny days. We even got out for some photos with the cherry blossoms this year! In this blog, we thought we’d share some of our favorite spring fashion and best sellers from April. We hope you enjoy it!
Wearing vs. Styling Amazon Dresses
Amazon dresses are a spring fashion staple for us! They’re breezy, budget-friendly, and come in tons of colors. We grabbed these cream and brown versions and already know they’ll be on heavy rotation all season.
In this reel, we’re showing how easy it is to elevate these simple pieces with just a few accessories. Since the fit is a little boxy, we like adding a sweater or jacket over the shoulders or tied at the waist for extra shape and texture. Add a cute bag and sandals, and you’ve got an effortlessly chic look!

This year, we’re all about easy, breezy skirts. This one is an Amazon favorite we keep reaching for! It’s just $33 and comes in all our go-to neutral tones. Comfortable, versatile, and so easy to style.
In this reel, we’re showing how to take this skirt from casual to dressed-up depending on your day. Whether you’re heading to the office, sightseeing, or grabbing lunch with friends, this piece fits right in.

Travel Capsule Essentials
Who’s got a trip planned! 🙋♀️In this reel we’re breaking down all of our favorite spring fashion travel capsule essentials. If you have a big European or tropical getaway, we’ve given these items the LSW seal of approval!! Let’s break it down:
- Reach for some casual dresses that can be dressed up or down. This helps you keep your baggage to a minimum and gives you multiple opportunities to wear the same thing! We love this blue striped dress from Quince.
- Long skirts are IN! Added bonus: they’re comfortable and won’t make you miserable in the heat. This skirt from Quince is so cute and perfect with a little white shell top. Perfect outfit for sightseeing!
- We’re all about linen this time of year. If you love the feel of linen but hate the wrinkles when you sit in long linen pants, try linen shorts. They don’t wrinkle as much and are so comfortable. This set is perfect for a tropical getaway!
- If you don’t mind the wrinkles, make sure a pair of linen pants makes it’s way into your suitcase! These can be dressed up like Julie is wearing here, or worn as a bathing suit coverup or with a white t-shirt.
- If you like a “one and done” piece – a jumpsuit is perfect! Style with sneakers or sandals and that’s it. We’re loving these jumpsuits from Quince and they come at a great price – just $60 each!
Zara Skirts
Last but definitely not least—our favorite Zara skirts! We’re so happy to see long skirts making a comeback.
White skirts have been trending for the past couple of summers, and we totally get why! They’re delicate, versatile, and effortlessly chic. Whether you dress them up with a blouse or keep it casual with a tee, you can’t go wrong.
We’re also loving the silk and patterned options. Julie’s silk skirt pairs perfectly with a tank or tee, and mine looks polished even with just a simple white top thanks to the fun print.
We’ve had so much fun styling these easy spring fashion pieces lately. Between the floaty skirts and breezy dresses, we’re officially in warm-weather mode! ☀️
