If you’ve been following us for a while, you know we’ve been in our colored pants era for months now! From terracotta, to olive green, to our recent butter yellow obsession. And guess what? Our recent post on soft pink pants color pairings got just as much love. You all are clearly as into this shade as we are!
Pink might just be the perfect spring color. It works earlier than you’d expect (we’re pulling ours out in February!) and stays in rotation all the way through late summer. We’ve been pairing our favorite spring tops with pink pants for an instant outfit-maker. Plus, the styles we’re seeing this season are so flattering, so comfortable, and so easy to dress up or down.

Now let’s get into the fun part, how to style them! Pink pants are way more versatile than they seem. Whether you’re going soft and pretty or bold and unexpected, here are our go-to color pairings for making pink pants work all spring and summer!
White
Clean, crisp, and always a winner. Whether it’s a simple white button-down or a pretty blouse, white keeps your outfit light and springy. We’ve been so into eyelet blouses this year! It seems every store has their own version this spring. Both of our blouses are from Sezane and they are becoming our spring STAPLES! Krista is wearing the Enea Blouse and I’m wearing the Odelia Blouse! Pair with some neutral accessories and you’re done! Such a pretty outfit!
Hot Pink
Yes, you can double down on pink! Pairing soft pink pants with a brighter top creates such a fun monochrome moment. You all know I’ve been loving this $10 Amazon graphic tee this spring – it goes great with these pants and some simple brown sandals! Krista is wearing this cute hot pink sweater from AQUA which is currently on sale for $40! Don’t hesitate going bold with pink and hot pink!
Leopard
Leopard was a top trend for 2024 and we’re still seeing it everywhere! A leopard top adds just the right amount of edge and balances out the softness of the pink. I am wearing a Sezane sweater tank which is unfortunately no longer available, but Krista’s Amazon front tie top is (and under $30!). Throw on some darker brown accessories and you’re ready to go!
Dark Blue
Navy or deep denim gives pink pants more of a casual feel. We love these looks for a weekend vibe! Krista is wearing her trusty Gap denim shell, some tan sneakers, and a studded cross body bag – so cute! I am wearing a simple dark navy tee Splendid and is sooo soft! It’s one of their most iconic pieces! I balanced out the top with some blue sneakers from Adidas and a silver cross body!
Burgundy
One of our favorite unexpected combos! Deep burgundy adds richness and feels like a cool transitional color. We could see this outfit taking you into late summer! I am wearing a Zara asymmetric neckline top (under $30) and Krista is wearing a simple tank from Target ($10!!!)! We paired these outfits with some neutral tan shoes and straw bags for a little texture. Love!
Red
Red + pink make a major statement! These outfits are giving northeast summer – we had so much fun putting them together! I am wearing a graphic sweatshirt from Target and these tan Target sandals that have been on repeat this year! Krista is wearing a red and white striped tank (also from Target) that’s only $8! You don’t have to spend a fortune to look cute!
Brown
This is how you take these soft pink pants from day to night! I love the look of my Splendid x @Cellajaneblog Pointelle sweater vest with these pants. I threw on my trusty slide sandals from Schutz and a brown bag and felt so cute! Krista’s outfit is SO girls night! She’s wearing an off the shoulder top and some cute leopard pointed heels! Love these combos!
Grey
Last but not least, grey! Grey goes with just about everything, including soft pink! Krista’s wearing another super chic outfit here that’s date night approved. She’s been able to get so much use out of this Quince cardigan this spring! I dressed the pants down a bit with this heather grey sweatshirt and my favorite samba sneakers. Perfect for weekend errands or the farmers market!
