We love a black dress for New Year’s Eve! It’s the perfect jumping-off point for fun accessories, statement shoes, or a little sparkle, and chances are, you already have something similar in your closet.
Krista is wearing a sleeveless black mini dress from Tuckernuck styled with polka dot tights from Kohl’s, black booties from Nine West, and a simple black clutch with just a hint of shimmer!! This look is so classic and cute. The tights add a little interest and texture without being too flashy, which we love for NYE when you want to look festive but still timeless. It’s one of those outfits that feels effortless but still totally party-ready.
Julie went with a classic black lace dress from Adrianna Papell – and honestly, we’re obsessed!! This dress is so chic, the length is perfect, and the nude underlayer gives it that elevated, special-occasion feel without being over the top. She paired it with leopard heels to add a little edge and personality, which takes the look from simple to chef’s kiss. Such a great example of how one fun accessory can completely change a classic black dress!!!

Classic Glam
This is the kind of glam we love for New Year’s Eve! Festive, polished, but still comfortable enough to actually enjoy the night.
Krista is wearing the Banana Republic Sequin Boatneck Pullover Sweater paired with a silky skirt from Evermore and tall Sam Edelman boots. We are big fans of a silk skirt + sweater combo for winter parties. It looks elevated, but it’s sneakily one of the most comfortable outfits you can wear!! The sequins add just the right amount of sparkle for NYE, while the cozy sweater and boots keep things a little more cozy and casual.
Julie’s outfit absolutely screams glam. Her shimmery top from Chico’s is so festive and feels perfect for ringing in the new year. She paired it with silk pants from Quince – another sneaky-comfortable win – and kept the rest of the look clean and simple with minimal jewelry and gold strappy heels.
If you want to feel dressed up but still comfortable enough to dance, sit, stand, and stay out past midnight, this is the kind of outfit formula we swear by!
Festive and Fun
For our last outfit, we wanted something with a little flare – because if there’s ever a night to have fun with your outfit, New Year’s Eve is it!!!

It’s playful, unique, and classy! The feathers bring all the drama, while the clean top and simple accessories keep everything balanced. Perfect!
