This stage of life is full of more opportunities for travel and we are loving every minute! I learned a lot about packing and choosing the right styling and beauty accessories during my two week trip to the UK in December and I’m using my tips to help Krista pack for her trip to Greece in September! Here are our favorite travel beauty and style accessories that can help you pack more efficiently and look chic for your upcoming vacations!
Beauty finds
- Two-in-one flat iron/curling iron: Krista loved this on her last trip to Europe! So nice to have both options.
- Travel steamer: Krista owns this and it works great! Nice & compact, we also use this before creating LSW content!
- Jewelry organizer: A splurge, but worth it. You’ll never need another jewelry organizer, ever.
- Cosmetics bag: So many things we love about this bag! It’s washable, has lots of compartments, and we especially love the flat bottom that allows the bag to open wide for easy access. Snap in organizers for brushes and extra storage are a must.
- Travel converter: Your electrical devices won’t work in the UK or Europe unless you have an plug adapter. It’s easier (and cheaper) to have these before you travel. Also important to note that UK & European sockets are different and require separate adapters!
- Eye drops: I’m constantly fighting red, dry eyes while traveling. I need both–the lubrication vials tackle dryness and Lumify is a godsend for redness. It makes the whites of eyes so white and clear! Safe to use once a day, everyday.
- Moleskin patches: I discovered these on my recent trip to England, after developing a nasty heel blister from a pair of brand new hiking boots I should’ve known better not to pack. The patch stays on, even with showering, etc. I didn’t remove it for a week! I was able to walk for miles without pain, after a week, I removed the patch and my blister was gone. A travel miracle!
- Grooming kit: Hair and nails continue to grow even while traveling! This is a must for those stray chin hairs and a broken nail. I swear every time I travel, someone asks me if I have tweezers or a nail clipper they can borrow.
Styling Accessories
- Crossbody bag: This bag checks all the boxes–it’s stylish, goes with every outfit, and holds my essentials: phone, credit cards, license, sunglasses, reading glasses, and lip color.
- Belt bag: I always throw in this bag too because it’s so handy for more active days, like hiking, etc.
- Light jacket: A jacket is critical for warmth, but it also makes a style statment! We put a lot of thought into what is the best jacket for a trip. Usually a denim jacket or utility jacket covers all the bases!
- Rain jacket: If you bring it, hopefully you won’t need it! This one is very compact and comes in lots of colors.
- Hat: A cute, stylish baseball hat is great for sun protection and extending hair wash days!
- Sunglasses: Our current favorite, these are so chic and look designer!
- Matching Set: Easy dressing 101, and these pieces can also be mixed & matched throughout your trip for maximum versatility.
- Pajamas: For nighttime lounging, I like to bring pjs that are a bit more elevated than what I often wear at home.
- Swimsuit: This Amazon suit is so cute! Incredible quality and so affordable!
- Sneakers: A must for days with lots of walking. These are so chic & cute with everything from dresses and skirts to pants and shorts.
- Comfort sandals: A molded footbed is key for all day comfort. These are worth every penny!
- Hiking sandals: If hiking or water are on the itinerary, you’ll want a pair of these in your suitcase.
