This season, we added a few new spring shoe trends into our lineups, and we have been having so much fun styling them. From everyday sneakers to statement sandals, these are the pairs we keep reaching for.
All of these styles pass our test of style + comfort (because if we cannot actually wear them all day, we do not want them 😅). If you are building out your wardrobe with comfortable spring shoes, these are all solid options. For reference, I (Krista) wear a size 9 ½ and Julie wears a size 7.

Sneakers
You can never go wrong with a spring sneaker! It is one of the most versatile go-to spring shoes and a staple we both rely on year after year.
If you have a big European vacation this year, spring is the perfect time to start trialing your trip shoe. Finding a comfortable sneaker for travel early makes such a difference when you are walking all day.
These sneakers are both super comfortable and cute, which is the goal. We picked one neutral and one with a pop of color so you have options depending on your style. These are also both tried and true brands for us, so you know they are good!
Krista’s Pick: Isella Sneaker by Sam Edelman
Krista recently got knee surgery and still thinks these are great, so you know they are a win. She loves how clean they look and not too sporty, so you can still wear them with a cute blouse or even dress them up a bit.
Julie’s Pick: Gazelle Lo Pro Sneaker by adidas (green)
The green is such a fun color pop, especially for spring! This is also a great option if you do not love a platform sneaker or just cannot wear them. They are low profile, super comfortable, and easy to style with everyday outfits.
Jelly Flats
One of the more unexpected spring shoe trends this year is the return of jelly flats, and we are loving it!
They are super breathable, which makes them perfect for warm weather and travel. If you are looking for lightweight spring shoes for beach trips, dinners out, or vacation outfits, these are such a fun option.
Krista’s Pick: Michaela Jelly Mary Jane Flat by Sam Edelman (red)
Talk about a pop of color! We love the strap detail that gives them that classic Mary Jane feel. It makes them look a little more polished while still being fun.
Julie’s Pick: Jam Jelly Flat by Dolce Vita
These are in crystal vinyl, so they are clear, which means they literally match anything. If you are looking for versatile spring flats that go with everything, these are such a good option. Jelly flats are just fun all around. The shape, the texture, everything.
Heeled Sandals
If you are looking for something a little more bold, heeled sandals are one of our favorite spring outfit shoes to dress things up.
A good heeled sandal makes such a statement, and we especially love them in warm brown tones because they go with just about anything. They are perfect for dinners, events, or anytime you want your outfit to feel a little more elevated.
Krista’s Pick: Jordynn Ankle Strap Platform Wedge Sandal by Cordani
They are perfectly platformed and super strappy! You get that added height, but your foot stays relatively flat, which makes them more comfortable than your typical heel.
Julie’s Pick: Jordynn Ankle Strap Platform Wedge Sandal by Cordani – Clove
This color is sold out, but they have other really cute options. We love the stud detailing and the wide strap across the toes. There is definitely some height, but the platform in the front helps balance it out so they are still wearable.
Buckle Sandals
When it comes to everyday comfortable spring shoes, buckle sandals are always in our rotation.
If you have followed us for a while, you already know we are all about strappy buckle sandals. They are easy, comfortable, and go with everything from jeans to dresses.
Birkenstock will always be a favorite, but there are so many brands now doing similar styles that are just as good. This style continues to be one of the most popular spring sandal trends for a reason.
Krista’s Pick: Frankie4 Deon Rye Suede Stud Sandal
So cute! We love all the detailing and the unique buckle. Also, the black footbed is a win because you do not see as much wear over time.
Julie’s Pick: Birkenstock Arizona Big Buckle Leather Sandal (black)
You really cannot go wrong with these. The oversized gold buckle dresses them up just enough, which makes them easy to wear with everyday outfits.
Trendy Picks
For our last category, we wanted to share a couple of trend forward styles we have been loving lately. These are fun, a little different, and great if you want to try something new this season.
Krista’s Pick: Connie Flat by Naturalizer (black and white snake print)
We love a good slingback flat, and this print adds just the right amount of interest. These are a great option if you are looking for chic spring flats that still feel comfortable.
Julie’s Pick: Slim Boat Shoe by Sperry
I LOVE these. Boat shoes are definitely having a moment again, making them one of the more unexpected spring shoe trends. I wear these for sailing, errands, and casual days out. They are just easy and versatile.
